ArcVida, Inc. ("us", "we", or "our") operates https://www.arcvida.com (the "Site"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, with whom may be shared and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of this Site, and from registered clients of our Service.

We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy carefully when using our website, registering as a client, joining our private online network, participating in free webinars, joining live conference calls (the "Services") or transacting business with us. Information Collection

While using our Site, we may ask you to provide us with certain personal information. Personal information means information that can be used to identify and contact a specific living person ("Personal Information").

When you complete a quiz, send us a note via the contact form, or purchase a service from us, we collect the Personal Information you give us such as your name, location, company/university and email address.

When you browse our site, we also automatically receive your computer's internet protocol (IP) address to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

When you use our Services, you may provide Sensitive Data including information, answers, comments, photographs, videos, and profile information that may reveal your ethnic origin, nationality, religion, and/or sexual orientation. We may collect this information through calls, webinar, online platform, or mobile application. This includes identifying information, such as your name, address, email address, and telephone number, and university affiliation. We do not collect or store financial information, such as your payment method. While you are using our Service, you may provide information about your interests and activities, gender and age, marital/family status, employer and geographic location.

Information about others: We may collect and store personal information about other people that you provide to us, such as their name, city, job title, employer and email address. If you refer our Services to others, we may store your Personal information and the recipient's Personal Information so that we can process that referral or facilitate future marketing activities.

Your Choices

You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but that may result in you being unable to use certain features of our Services because such information may be required to register as a client, complete a purchase, or fully use our Service. Communications

We use your Personal Information to contact you with emailed newsletters, marketing or promotional materials, event invitation, new content and other updates. You may opt out of any marketing or commercial email, through a link on the bottom of any email from a distribution list. Active clients may not opt of services-related notification emails – even if they are sent from a distribution list.

We may also use communicate with you via postal mail, telephone or mobile device (texting and app notifications) while delivering our Service to you.

If we have a security, privacy, or administrative issue – like a security breach, you agree that we will communicate this to you via email. We may also post a notice on our Site. How We Use Your Information

We use your Personal Information for providing and improving the Site and Service. We also use your Personal Information and Sensitive Information to deliver personalized career advice and tailored career coaching to you.

We use your information to manage our business, manage your account and provide you with customer support. We also perform research and analysis about your use of, or interest in, our services, or content, or products, services or content offered by others. We may use your information to develop and display content tailored to your interests on our Site. We will use your information to enforce or exercise any rights in our Terms of Service, and to perform functions as otherwise described to you at the time of data collection. We may also disclose your Personal Information in conjunction with a significant corporate transaction, such as the sale or merger of our business, or if we are required by law to do so.

We do not sell or give your Personal Information to anyone.

A coach or mentor may share specific information about you, to facilitate a business introduction or to help you meet your career goals (i.e. marketing a "Client Spotlight" on social media or sending an email, text, or LinkedIn message). We will use also bullet points about you including: first name, last initial, career goals and Service outcomes in our marketing materials and Site; you can instruct us to use a fictitious name if you prefer.

Access and Correct Information

If you want to access or change your Personal Information that we have on file, please email us at info@arcvida.com to arrange a method and time to do so. You may view and edit any Sensitive Information through active client log-in to our online platform. If you wish to make changes when you are not an active client (or after completing the Service), please email us your request and we will attempt to complete your request, as accurately and completely as possible, within 30 days. If we cannot provide access or corrections, we will inform you of the reasons in writing.

Data Retention

If you have an online account with us, your account will be deactivated after your Service terminates. We will retain certain data to improve our services, for analytical purposes and recordkeeping integrity, as well as to prevent fraud, enforce our terms and conditions, take actions to protect the Service or users integrity, or take other actions otherwise permitted by law.

Log Data

Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site ("Log Data"). When you provide Sensitive Information, by logging-in as a client to our online platform, or having a private conversation with a mentor or coach, this is not public information.

When you post information, documents, or photographs in our private online network, this information is both viewable by our other clients and also may be seen briefly in a service demonstration to potential clients or investors. Our postings in the online network are governed by our Terms of Service. If you voluntarily disclose Personal Information, such as your email address, that information will by viewable and could be collected and used by other clients – such as for unsolicited messages. Although we moderate the online network carefully, we may not prevent unwanted activity. Likewise, information you share in a conference call or webinar will be shared with our other clients. Please exercise discretion and caution with how you share or post Personal or Sensitive Information in our private online network, conference calls, or webinars.

Your Consent

By using the Site, or purchasing a Service, you agree to the collection and use of Personal and Sensitive information in accordance with this policy. If we ask for your Personal Information for another reason, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

Withdrawing your consent may impact your ability to receive client Services; if so, your account termination will be managed under our Refund Policy. You will also expect you to discontinue use of any Site and to not join future free webinars.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of January 15, 2018 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.
